主题：Preferences and Personality Traits in China: Evidence from a Large-scale Nationwide Survey
讲座摘要This study presents the first nationwide study of preferences and personality traits in China. We conduct a large-scale survey with a sample of 109,658 subjects from 337 prefectures. The data reveal substantial heterogeneity in preferences and personality traits across prefectures, but even larger within prefecture. Some of these behavioral traits are interconnected at the individual level and more so at the prefecture level. Individual differences vary with age, gender, cognitive ability, only-child status, and hukou status and prefecture differences correlate with both income, GDP per capita and loose-tightness culture. Our results provide an initial step towards a better understanding of preferences and personality traits in China and their broader societal, economic and cultural implications.
主讲人简介
沈强，云顶平台网址国际工商云顶平台网址教授、博士生导师。作为第一或通讯作者，在Management Science、Journal of Economic Theory、Psychological Medicine、NeuroImage、Neuropsychologia、Behavioural Brain Research等期刊发表研究论文10余篇。主持包括国家自然科学基金面上项目、青年项目、教育部人文社会科学基金项目等多项国家、省部级项目，管理科学与工程学会神经管理与神经工程研究会委员、中国技术经济学会神经管理与经济专业委员会副秘书长，计算决策神经科学暑期学校暨决策神经科学研讨会发起人。
